What you are bidding on is original art direct from the artist Benito Gallego. The item up for sale is the third of my Tarzan Sunday pages. Each page was hand crafted hand inked masterpieces. The New Adventures of TARZAN Sunday pages are available online at edgarriceburroughs.com/comics/ and will be all published soon in printed paper. This is the original art made for the page. Once scanned some parts may be retouched in Photoshop. The colors and texts are also added in Photoshop. That’s why the published page may look slightly different.
The page in question (#3756) features a scene in a makeshift lab, with chemicals and vats and test tubes, etc. Three Leopard Men hurry in through the door with their “handbags.” Dr. Maxon Harper peers into one of the handbags and reaches her hand in… She pulls out a human heart! Meanwhile, Tarzan (with Nkima) is riding across the savannah on the back of Tantor as two Africans rush up to him, calling to him —clearly, they want to tell him about the Leopard Men’s murders.
Pen and brush illustration done on A-3 size (11,7 x 16,5) illustration Bristol board signed by the artist. The Tarzan logo is pasted down to the original.
This is the third of my Tarzan Sunday pages. A truly collector's item!

Está pujando por un arte original directamente del artista Benito Gallego. Se trata de la tercera de mis páginas de tiras semanales de Tarzan. Cada página ha sido dibujada y entintada a mano. Las páginas de The New Adventures of TARZAN están disponibles online en edgarriceburroughs.com/comics/ y pronto serán publicadas en papel impreso. Este es es el arte original hecho para la página. Una vez escaneado algunas partes pueden ser ligeramente retocadas en Photoshop. Los colores y textos también se añaden en Photoshop. Es por eso que la página publicada puede tener alguna ligera variación respecto del original.
La página en cuestión (nº 3756) tiene lugar en un laboratorio improvisado con productos químicos, tubos de ensayo, etc. Tres Hombres Leopardo entran con sus “sacos.” La doctora Maxon Harper mira dentro de uno de los sacos y mete su mano dentro para sacar… ¡Un corazón humano! Mientras, Tarzan (con Nkima) atraviesa la sabana a lomos de Tantor y dos africanos se apresuran hacia él —obviamente quieren hablarle acerca de los asesinatos de los Hombres Leopardo.

Esta es la tercera de mis páginas para Tarzan. Un auténtico ejemplar de coleccionista.
