TORMENTA EN LA CLASE

Primera ilustración interior para el libro segundo de Diego's Dragon.

Uno de los dragones del enemigo viene al aula de Diego para ver si realmente es "el guía". Antes de que el dragón aparezca, el cuarto entero se vuelve salvaje en una tormenta enorme. Diego se queda pegado cabeza abajo en el tablón de anuncios, totalmente aterrorizado, justo antes de que pase.

One of the enemy's dragons is coming to Diego's classroom to see if he truly is "the guide." Before the dragon appears, the whole room goes wild in a huge storm. Diego is stuck upside down on the bulletin board, scared out of his mind, right before he passes out.

The first sketch was pushed back because it was necessary to give more importance to the figure of the Green Goblin, the real protagonist of the illustration.

Viendo los 4 pasos así juntos me doy cuenta de que me podía haber saltado el paso del dibujo a lápiz y haber entintado directamente sobre el boceto.

Another illustration for the MARVEL HIGH SERIES trading cards made for Upper Deck: sketch, pencil drawing, inks and final color illustration. Seeing the 4 stages here together I realize that I could have perfectly skipped the pencil stage and could have done the inks directly on the sketch.
